David Neale – CEO/Founder
Over 25 years in managing and shaping businesses in the medical field, covering general commodities, services and medical devices in the fields of cardiology, renal therapies, neuromodulation and orthopedics.
Mr. Neale has successfully identified and established new businesses and opportunities in multiple medical device marketplaces. He has experience in evaluating emerging technologies, and in negotiating and integrating acquisitions to provide broader product portfolio coverage.
Mr. Neale previously held senior level positions with Medtronic AF Solutions, LivaNova, Sorin Group and Baxter Healthcare. His responsibilities have included marketing, product strategy, pipeline development, market development and full P & L management. He has successfully integrated acquisitions and built highly effective cross-functional teams.
David holds a B.S. degree in Pharmacy-Biochemistry, Masters in Industrial Administration, and MBA from the University of Sao Paolo Brazil.
Randy Werneth – CTO/Founder
Over 25 years in experience in both small entrepreneurial and Fortune 500 corporations in the medical device industry.
Mr. Werneth has successfully started and raised venture capital for several start-up companies including MaxWell Biomedical, Acutus Medical, Securus Medical Group (acquired by Boston Scientific), Ablation Frontiers (acquired by Medtronic PLC), CryoTherapeutics and a team member of Cryterion Medical (acquired by Boston Scientific). Randy has taken each start-up through multiple rounds of financing transforming innovative ideas into commercial approvals and revenue earning products.
Mr. Werneth previously held senior level positions at Medtronic, MicroTherapeutics, and Edwards LifeSciences leading R & D departments from concept to commercial product. He also sits on the board of several venture funded medical device companies in the US and Europe.
Steven McQuillan – Chief Clinical, Regulatory & Quality Officer
Over 30+ years of experience in startup and Fortune 500 corporations in Cardiovascular and Spinal Cord Stimulation. Mr. McQuillan has held executive level clinical, regulatory and quality positions at Saluda Medical, Acutus Medical, Spinal Modulation (acquired by Abbott), Medtronic and Boston Scientific. In addition, Mr. McQuillan continues to be an advisor and board member to several startup companies.
Mr. McQuillan has built strong relationships with leading physicians in the field of Cardiology, Electrophysiology and Neuromodulation. He has also worked closely with the FDA and global regulatory agencies to bring innovative medical solutions to commercialization.
Mr. McQuillan holds a BA in Engineering Statistics and a BA in Biostatistics from the University of Minnesota.
